Smart Energy Solutions to Fight Global Warming

Hollins University and Sierra Club present the Citizens' Energy Plan - Statewide environmental leaders will come to Roanoke to present the Club's comprehensive plan for "Smart Energy Solutions" for Virginia.  A panel of experts will discuss the plan and field questions from the audience. The Citizens Energy Plan is a new vision to help Virginia cut our global warming pollution while creating jobs and building a new energy economy based on conservation, efficiency and clean renewable energy. 8 easy ways to get the word out the Citizens Energy Plan Town Hall:

  1. Send an email with a personal note to as many friends as possible.
  2. Call 10 friends and invite them.
  3. Join our Smart Energy Solutions for VA Facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5557086486.
  4. RSVP for the event on Facebook and invite your friends at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=5207502122.
  5. Print out and put up 3 posters in your local coffee shop, school, library, bus stop, etc. You can find the poster here or tabliod size.
  6. Adopt a neighborhood to poster- email joshua.low@sierraclub.org to adopt yours!
  7. Does your neighborhood have a blog or listserv?  Post an announcement there.
  8. Get an announcement in your church and school bulletins.
