Product Endorsement

Whereas the Virginia Chapter of the Sierra Club is highly concerned about the good name of the Sierra Club, and
Whereas the endorsement of any retail product by the Sierra Club is questionable, as it dilutes the public's perception of the Club's independence, and
Whereas the perception of taking money in return for a retail product endorsement taints the Club's reputation with both the population of the United States and other countries,
Now Therefore Be It Resolved, that the Virginia Chapter of the Sierra Club opposes the endorsement of the Clorox Green Works line of chemicals, or any other consumer products, by the Sierra Club national organization.
