Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about reducing your carbon footprint! In 2007, Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (NVRPA) became the first park agency in the nation to sign on to the Cool Counties initiative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Paul Gilbert, Executive Director of NVRPA, will talk about NVRPA's experience in energy conservation with efforts ranging from improved weather-stripping and insulation to electric vehicles, geothermal heat pumps, solar power generation, and LEED building design.

Cost is $10 for the buffet (tax and tip included). If you want to come and just have coffee, email or call the conservation district office at 703-324-1460.
