Details:
Dr. Ashbury Sallenger will talk about how extreme storms, e.g., Hurricanes Isabel, Katrina, and Ike, etc., not only caused storm surge and battering waves but also contributed to changes in the shape and elevation of land on which houses were built. He will explain what this means for coastal developments today and in the future.
